St. James United Methodist Church

Little Rock, AR

St. James United Methodist Church is a project that was planned to allow the facility to grow with the parish. In 1968, RPK prepared a master plan for a small congregation of 27 members on an 8-acre wooded tract in West Little Rock. In accordance with the plan, as the church's membership grew and the need for larger and more permanent spaces became apparent, RPPY began to phase additional spaces. Over the years, RPPY has added over six phases which include: two kitchens, a music wing, multiple educational facilities, a Family Life Center with a flexible gymnasium and youth facilities, a columbarium, and a contemporary Worship Center. Today, the 3,500 member congregation uses a 64,000 sq. ft. building, completed over the last 50 years.
